I should charge an entrance fee for this article, because this article has already made some techs tens of thousands of dollars already..quite possible $100,000's...

So, read this, copy it, print it, cause one day, maybe soon, I will pull this and put it in a subscription area.

On to the show-
How to get gold in the drive.

Take ANY dealer. I dont care if it is a Ford, Toyota, Mercedes, Acura or whatever dealership. Pass the used cars. Pass the new cars. Go directly to the service drive.
Do they use a PDR Service THRU the drive? I mean, do they have a PDR Tech in the drive every week day from 7am to 10am helping the writers hunt for dents? IF not, youve just found gold.

Now, here is the tweak or twitch to this article. The gold really isnt always in the drive. I know, now Im a liar. Not really though, cause the drive is going to TAKE you to the GOLD.

The gold is either in the service drive, IF they have the clientele and VOLUME to sell PDR, and the staff who is motivated/paid/talented enough to assist you and support you in your endeavors. I suggest a busy luxury dealer, or a Toyota store.

Now, here is the 24karat kicker- you offer to do the service drive, and give the store 2/3 of the profits. And, you give a the F&I department Get a Free Dent Removed card, good for up to one year from purchase, on all new car sales. Cost to the store: Free. And you only do those repairs while you are at the dealerships scheduled days.
Make sense so far. It shouldnt, if you know the business, since you would realize you wouldnt be making much money for sacrificing half your day at the drive. Here is the money shot- you do all of this, ONLY on the condition that you are also the used car PDR Vendor of choice. You match the current vendors price, and agree to do all the above, on that premise.
Yup, now you see where Im going....you just got the used car lot business. The limiter is, that you can only do one of these per technician, since the tech will agree to be there every morning at 7am to 9:30 or 10am. That means, the store better have a good used car inventory...you wouldnt want to do this for a store with only 15 used cars... you would target a store with AT LEAST 100 used cars. That
means, they should sell at least half of those monthly, and you should be able to repair half or better of those, so 25-40 used car repairs, at lets say, $75 each. 40 cars at $75 each = $3000/month.
Now if you had an ASSISTANT working the drive at another store for you, helping you sell the service business in the drive, and then calling you when he or she had a car for you to repair, then you could potentially do a number of these arrangements.
Lets say, conservatively, you did 4 of these arrangements, and the numbers were the same. Thats $3000/month X 4, = $12,000.00 total monthly gross income. Sure, you will have to pay your other three assistants some part time, 3 hour per day salary or commisions, but that wouldnt add up to much. You should be able to cover them for no
more than $1000 per month each ($3000 total) and leave the rest of the gold on the table for you, leaving you at $9000. Now that money, also doesnt include ANY of the service drive repair money coming to you either, or other dealer repair income (new car etc etc).

So, $10,000.00 a month would be a shoe-in for this program.
And guess what, it is already working out there.
Dont wait for another service drive clone to come grab your accountss..set up a program before they do..
And, yes, you are welcome.
